$615 in donations every month??? That’s about half what my kids pay in student loans every month! My daughter lives at home and makes less than $30k while in grad school. THAT seems more like the typical 25 year old these days!

Not just 25 year olds. I’ve been teaching for 15 years and I don’t make $100,000, nor will I ever if I stay in education.

My parent's make around 60K total and their health insurance eats up around 400 dollars a month and I'm not even on their plan. Did I mention it also goes up 10$ per year for a co-pay which is currently at 60$. America is broken.

Alright, now show one for someone who makes $34,000 a year like the average 25-year-old. (source: Business Insider)

If you’re 25 making $34,000, you’ve never broken out of the cycle. The point is not to work where you like but work where the money is at.

Dude, wages for people with bachelors degrees have stayed stagnant since the early 90s. All job growth in the last couple years has been in minimum wage jobs (which, you know, you can’t live on) People aren’t working the wrong jobs, there isn’t money in jobs anymore

Part of the cycle is still believing you need a bachelor’s degree or college to make wealth. If your passion is to be a (ex: doctor) and be financially capable then yes. If you just want to make wealth then no.

And what do you think most people are doing? Going to 4 years & getting their bachelors. Bc the very same ppl who are admonishing us for not making enough are giving the advice that we need those degrees in the first place

The narrative that main stream media is trying to push is that "there is no economic hardship, just already be rich and you are fine" WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCKING FUCK?!?!!!??!??! It's almost like they are BEGGING for mass social unrest.
