Kudos to her, but it seems negligent of the navy to just now, 2020 to have the first woman of color doing her job. This has got to start being the norm, instead of a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

As a former Flight Instructor- I can tell you that women of color with her skill set are so in demand in the business world, she turned down a 6 figure starting salary to do this. That makes her patriotism all the more meaningful. 🇺🇸 It is hard for the USN to compete.
