- The Bitter Lake Community Center at 13035 Linden Ave N. opened last night & will and run 24 hours a day as a warming center & overnight shelter until Friday, January 17, at 8:00am. Adults, families with children, couples, & those with vehicles are welcome at this facility.

- King County Administration Building at 500 4th Avenue in downtown Seattle will offer 50 additional emergency shelter beds through tonight, January 15. The shelter serves people who identify as men, age 18 and older, from 7pm to 6am.

All City-funded shelters have expand capacity to accommodate all people in need of safe shelter during the severe weather. Shelter is also available in City Hall, 600 4th Ave. No referral forms are necessary for accessing these emergency resources & no one will be turned away.

If you're concerned about someone in need of shelter, call 2-1-1 to connect to resources. If 2-1-1 is busy, the 24-hour Crisis Line 866-427-4747 can provide info on shelters. For emergencies, call 9-1-1. Seattle Police Dept. can provide transport to warming centers & shelters.
