I spoke to @jkenney and @shandro this morning to convey my disappointment with the irresponsible actions of one person. We must work together in our efforts to respond to #COVID19AB. I will have more to say at 3:30pm. (2/2)

In 2017-2018 in Alberta there were 3,053 hospitalizations, 242 ICU admissions and 92 deaths, of which 84 deaths were directly related to influenza Stop gaslighting!

This did not break my trust. My trust has been broken by the irresponsible actions of the UCP government. I knew this was happening.

As it is many of us don't trust that the Alberta Government and by extension you have our best interests at heart. A lot of people are finding some hope in these recordings that at the very least you are trying to keep us safe.

Until she turned it around and made the whistle blower the bad guy.

Trust was broken alright. I have been isolated since March because my husband has dementia. How about our mental health, my rights and freedoms? I am grateful to whoever blew the whistle. We needed to know what was happening. Now we do.

I feel the same way! Mental health works both ways. You cant just say that locking down will negatively affect mental health. My mental health is affected negatively because there is no lockdown. because some people are selfish and cannot think of others and the greater good.

Your influence hasn't done enough. You are in a position of public trust and must do more or resign. I expect the person agonized, waited 6 months & saw the UCP choosing to rule by gut feeling - at the risk to lives, long-term health consequences, mental health, our healthcare

Whistleblowing is a tough business. The ethics associated with trust are often outweighed by the damage caused by inaction of officials. Kenney & Shandro have been exposed as callous zealots. I support the whistleblower fully.

As well, these are decisions being made by elected officials on behalf of the citizens, and that directly concern ALL Albertans. These meetings should all be recorded and publicly available in the interest of transparency.
