    Traffic Alert(Ocean Beach): We are investigating a vehicle vs bicycle collision near W. Point Loma Blvd and Nimitz Blvd. Northbound Nimitz Blvd is being diverted at Chattsworth Blvd. The Famosa Blvd on-ramp to Nimitz is also closed. The road will remain closed for a few hours.

    Fire has been stopped by and all necessary evacuations have been made and occupants of the structure have been accounted for.

    I want to thank the members of the San Diego Planning Commission for their time today to review my plan to find common ground on short term vacation rentals. I appreciate that the commissioners were clear on the need for reasonable and enforceable regulations. 1/2

    Members of our Homeless Outreach Team (HOT) got a good leg workout in pushing a broken down car off a busy street in Pacific Beach! Did you know HOT works along side mental health professionals and social workers to provide resources and shelter for those who want the help?
