Each player at each pod gets a ballot to fill out. They fill it out in secret. The questions are also kept secret, so that players aren't encouraged to play as they would normally without influencing players to warp how they normally play such as with League point systems, etc.

The questions would be questions about the players' experience. Who did you feel contributed the most to an enjoyable experience? Who do you feel engaged in politics the best? Did anyone play in a way that would make you not want to play with them in the future? Others, too.

Entirely dependent on the amount of people, but I'd rig it the same way we've done our conspiracy nights - - Everyone gets one promo. This used to be the FNM promo but has now become the promo pack. - Every table gets 4 boosters (or 3, depending on how many people per pod) -
-
Cont.} And it's up to the table to decide the split. We always say 'you get one booster per person you take out, plus one to the final victor - no suicide. But 9/10 times the boosters are distributed evenly. It's about fun. Not about winning.

@MiloDaGreat1 ran a tournament for charity last year and his prize support was sweet. I can't recall exactly how it was determined but all the prizes were put into envelopes and you were given random numbers after each win which corresponded to one of the envelopes. -
That was such a fun tournament. I especially loved the keep what you draft.

Let people vote who 'won' the match, actual winner breaks a tie. Persuading others to vote for you dq's you. You can't vote for yourself, unless it is about breaking a tie
-
Why voting for a winner? How about voting for "the best player" and "the best/fun deck". So sharing the snacks could be a viable strategy. Also I would vote for the "play with worst luck".

The safest few options I can think of are: no prize support since you just came to have a good time; pure random (sealed envelopes or door prize style); or flat prizes given with entry. Really I'd just want to tournament structure to help me meet more people.

I think pods/tables where the winner is given a nominal prize, and at the end of the event everyone has a ballot with categories for "coolest deck" "best altered card" "play of the day" "best attitude" "worst beats" etc, and some of those prizes could be more premium.
-
People will just vote for their friends if they are in the pod (we have tried it here)
