Morning all, I've been thinking about something over the last few days and I felt like sharing it.
FSSW's that are still working right now are not the problem.
The problem is that they don't have the security to stop working for an unknown length of time.

Despite many reports of professional lockdown-enforcement this past weekend, there have been too many of abuse by police and soldiers. You do not win respect, compliance or legitimacy by shooting, slapping, kicking people. We need to do better! #Day4 #LockdownSA #SANDF #SAPS

Our role is to keep people safe. If you are in danger ring 999/112. If you worried about someone ring your local station. No one needs to suffer alone.

Police in different areas are interpreting the purpose and detail of the new legislation very widely. It is worth paying attention to what the law actually says.
Quote Tweet
There is nothing in the legislation that prohibits multiple people from the same household going to the shops. Nor is there a bar on going out to buy “non-essential items”.
Such things may not be desirable, but they are not crimes.
This does the police no credit. twitter.com/PoliceWarr/sta…

In light of COVID-19, issues in Irish prisons such as overcrowding and access to in-cell sanitation have become increasingly urgent.
Everybody – incl. those in prison – should be able to meet HSE guidance on social distancing, hygiene and hand washing.
