The impact of the chaos in the White House on the markets and with the shutdown, is something that now will affect every American in very meaningful ways. The people who have the power to reign this president in, should start doing so
Still with the benefit (or curse) of an inside perspective, I must say that the instability & chaos in our government the past few days has been particularly pronounced - worse than at any point during my service in Congress, & really, my lifetime. Things are not well in the USA.

File a bill of impeachment. There are many well known abuses of power factually sufficient to support a well written bill. Maybe someone else in your party will follow. That’s what leadership looks like. You might even get famous too. It’s not too late.

Curbelo called for impeachment over a 1 1/2 years ago back in May 2017, first GOP to do so. But like everyone from Flake to McCain - it’s all talk no action.
