December’s #JobsReport rounds out 2022 as a year of steady economic growth, yet racial disparities persisted in 2022. Nonfarm payrolls increased in December by 223,000. The Black unemployment rate fell from 5.9% to 5.7%, while Hispanic unemployment fell from 4.2% to 4.1%.
