Why does an ordinary citizen need to carry a gun around in public for anyway?

Because if only bad people carried guns they would be immediately noticable. They need good guys with guns to give the bad guys with guns cover so that they can calmly walk without being noticed to wherever they are going to commit their mass murder.

Anybody with a sharp knife could cut this off and use it against him in a heartbeat. NOBODY needs to strap on a rifle or hand gun to get coffee unless you're a cop...they know better than to wear a gun that way.

I was thinking the same thing. He's standing relaxed with both hands in his front pockets - a knife for the strap & kick to the back of his knees is all it would take.
