Thousands of people ran to Kabul airport yesterday after hearing rumours that planes were taking volunteers to Turkey to help with earthquake relief. A heartbreaking reminder of Aug 2021, when people in Afghanistan clung to planes to escape the Taliban.

To call this "a government" is sick. This is a hostage situation & people on every "side" of the story know that. Why do their lobbiests sit in the west? Why does Taliban leadership put their families outside of the country? Because they've made our Afghanistan a crime scene.
