The ultra-light aluminum-shell #Minox B was produced from 1958 to 1972.
Its small size was easy to conceal & great for secret #photography.

It used 9.5mm film & had a curved film plane which kept the lens design small but required a special enlarger to make prints.

if i remember correctly, the length of that lanyard was the distance the camera should be from document, since it didnt have TTL focus
