Central fallacy of intersectional feminism: It fights racism and sexism by rigidly categorizing everyone by race and sex. Try humanism instead. See:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYpELqKZ02Q …

Counterpoint: what you call rigid categorization is seeing people exactly as they wish to be seen. That’s humanization. Seeing people’s actual (on their terms) humanity is a basic step of intersectionality.

I agree with Peter, focusing on a persons surface traits rather than who they are as a person is shallow and I wouldn't want someone like that in my life.

Race & gender/sexual identity are not surface traits. Because we live in a system deeply rooted in white heteronormativity, the standard response to challenges raised by nonwhite, noncis, nonstraight folks is to diminish and reduce them. Make them feel small, petty, and foolish.

They are shallow surface traits to people who do not spend all day categorizing people.

People who consider something like racial identity, for instance, a “shallow” surface trait likely don’t share the same lived experience and therefore find it more comfortable to dismiss. Nothing new told here. It’s how oppressive systems thrive. #WhiteLens

And that is just the tip of the iceberg. I am glad my mother & grandmother are not alive to see what the freedom for which they fought has degenerated into. So many intersectionals won't admit there even is a female sex. You see, "gender" is "fluid".

The theory of Intersectionality is perversely hyper-Platonic: There are no individuals, there is only varying manifestation of archetypes.
