I’m persuaded the ⁦@nytopinion⁩ posts parody-like articles like #IAmSexist” because they attract a huge number of irritation-views. Help the @nytimes recover from this bad habit by posting such articles via “http://archive.is ”http://archive.is/JYdcA

      http://Archive.is  is the solution. No?

Totally if you can make people not lazy -- there is the real challenge.

What do you mean by lazy? There is ways to aumomate the archive process. You think people would use it?

I know it's ridiculous but the extra steps of going to an archive site when the link is directly in front of someone is too much effort for some. Lazy may be the wrong word. Perhaps impulse or a feeling of insignificance vs the effort required.

So, let's say a Browser plugin that adds an "archive share" button, that issues the archive request and puts resulting link in the user's clipboard would do the trick?

I'd say a large portion of twitter users are on the phone. Even then someone people are not plug-in savvy. I hate to be a naysayer, it's certainly a step in the right direction.

Was afraid of that. Most use their mobile, yeah. And don't worry! That's why I'm asking beforehand. Thanks for the input! Much appreciated.
