I’m persuaded the @nytopinion posts parody-like articles like #IAmSexist” because they attract a huge number of irritation-views. Help the @nytimes recover from this bad habit by posting such articles via “http://archive.is ”http://archive.is/JYdcA

Well except it's nonsense. That seriously impacts its validity. First, it privileges violence against women when men are more likely to suffer violence. Second, men as a whole are not responsible for the actions of a tiny-tiny minority of other men. So yeah, lol is about right.

So now the author is basically saying: well gender roles are just fine ... as long as they fit the narrative. His internalized misandry is not productive and it certainly shouldn't be celebrated. Imagine if this sort of nonsense were published but with the genders reversed....

First, I would still reject the notion that women are responsible for the actions of other women. But more to the point, let me know when we start seeing these sorts of articles appearing in the
@nytimes at parity to those blaming men as a whole for the actions of a few. -

Again, we substitute "black person" for "men," I think your position would change. If not, at least you're consistent. I still think stereotyping and wide brush painting is wrong and engaging in sexism/racism when it suits is ridiculous and bigoted.
