You are so INSENSITIVE!! Oh my God! You aren't aware of the pain and suffering women have to endure every minute of every day due to the fact that they have to share this world with men? Shame on you for belittling the burden they must bear.

Thats sarcasm right lol
-
I think so. I hope so!
-
Trouble is, yes it is sarcasm, but to some women on here it would read as truth.
-
Haha. Sorry I didn't get back to clarify earlier. Yes, it was VERY much sarcasm. Good eye.
-
No...your good! And I’m the queen of sarcasm but you got me!

I mean, you people don't realize how much better off this world would be without men? Forget about "brotopia." In Femtopia, there'd be no war because all women - as is common knowledge - are virtuous, gentle, and never engage in conduct detrimental to another woman.
-
Sounds hellish to me.
-
It would be *wonderful.* Of course, as you can see from my picture, I wouldn't be around to witness it, but I'll take your word that women never, ever fight for power with other women. =)

Such an insightful piece. Im a father of four - two of whom are girls who I love more than life itself. I pray that my beloved wife of 23 years and I have raised them to be way more mentally tough and resilient than Dr Ford. PTSD and a her life destroyed over this? Baffling

I found her testimony somewhat compelling but the little girl voice and movements while testifying seemed odd especially when later they disappeared at times. I had trouble reconciling that. I also did not like Kavanaugh’s either.

"pumping up of Ford’s moderately unpleasant story into a tear-inducing tragedy reinforces the worst of stereotypes: that we women are little birds so terrifyingly delicate that a mere brush against adversity leaves us broken-winged for life." -- Lionel Shriver

Exactly. Even if her story 100% represents what happened it wasn’t that bad. More likely her feelings about the incident forever warped her memory.

It wasn't hearing her story, it was remember how it felt to have uncaring arrogant men with their own agendas dismiss her, knowing they made up their minds before she even spoke. I didn't cry, but it was an awful reminder, it made me angry. VOTE THEM OUT

Did you disagree with the article? It seems so, because the article appeals to nuance rather than a good v evil conclusion.
-
I don't disagree, we all have different experiences. I was just giving my opinion on it.
