Yesterday, the Brooklyn Cooperative Credit Union (BK Coop) celebrated their Grand Opening of their East New York branch at Chestnut Commons at 282 Chestnut Street! The branch is open Wednesday to Saturday from 9am to 2pm. For more information, call 718-418-8232 ext 0.

We had a blast at the College STEPS Alumni Reunion. Event attendees enjoyed meeting with old classmates, delicious food, fun trivia games, and prizes that ranged from gift cards to projectors! Thank you to all the staff who help put together a wonderful event!

Today from 5pm to 7pm, join District Attorney General Eric Gonzalez, local elected officials, small businesses and community organizations to celebrate the holidays on Jamaica & Euclid Avenues. Tree lighting, Santa, toys for the kids, hot chocolate and other treats.
President of Claudia V. Schrader visited their first class and spoke to the CNA students about their lives and beginning careers as health care professionals and wished them well on upcoming certification exam. CHLDC is proud to partner with a great educational leader!

Yesterday, we served over 160 local residents a Thanksgiving Dinner-catered by . We distributed gift bags filled with hats, gloves, Clorox wipes, COVID test kits, and baby formula. This was a beautiful event and It was a pleasure to have everyone in attendance!

Thank you United Community Centers for organizing last Saturday's East New York Gives held with the Eastern Brooklyn Emergency Response Collaborative's 2nd Asylum Seekers Resources event. Over 400 East New Yorkers and new arrivals received a hot meal, clothes, and much more!
