Regarding HPZ's music: We felt that track 0x10 didn't fit the pace or prehistoric feel of the level.

@PrincessOtC We did our best to include HPZ given how the final version of Sonic 2 ended up, not how it may have been planned early on.

@CFWhitehead it wasn't even in the original place, there was no reason for it to be ther except for to forward the old theory -
@CFWhitehead and actually quite angry even though i haven't cared about sonic games in years. the emerald being a breakable sucked too. -
@CFWhitehead game music was ruined forever. I only paid a euro for this game yet as a long time sonic 2 beta fan I feel disappointed -

@CFWhitehead Strangely enough, a lot of people feel exactly the same way about the current music choice as well.Guess you couldn't win. -
@CFWhitehead I agree, the 0x10 track sounded more like something out of Castlevania than anything.
