    On this day 5 years ago Daniel Capuano of Tower Ladder 34 made the ultimate sacrifice when he died in the line of duty while battling a fire at 9213 S. Baltimore Ave. CFD will continue to honor Daniel and his family. Please keep the Capuano Family in your thoughts today 4-1-8.

    Lt Williams joined the CFD in 1992. His last assignment was at the OEMC. He will be transfered from Christ hospital to the Medical Examiner office with CFD and CPD honor escort.

    Sadly I report the death of retired CFD Lieutenant Dwain Williams. Who was shot during an apparent vehicle hijacking this afternoon. He retired from the job about 2 years ago at the age of 63. Our hearts are heavy tonight. (Langford)
