In the first 31 days of 2019, 10 states have reported #measles cases to CDC. For being so early in the year, the number of cases is very concerning. Measles is highly contagious and can spread among people who are not vaccinated. See measles FAQs: https://bit.ly/2UOaXpi pic.twitter.com/Br5XcC0sN7

Measles cases are up because more parents are opting out of vaccinating their kids. Pure and simple.

@Surgeon_General : The available data also suggest that a) Many/ most of the new measles cases are among unvaccinated individuals and b) states that have more liberal rules or enforcement regarding “opt outs” also have more unvaccinated residents.

Measles can spread among vaccinated as well...... 🤦‍♀️Stop trying to scare people into thinking they need a hefty dose of poison in order to be healthy.

Parents of children who die should be prosecuted for negligent homicide. they are a blight on the humanitarian vista, and should be removed from society.
