The Clausowitz account has now been removed. I've converted and archived the World War 3 book for researchers. Whoever was trolling the situation decided to make some money from their hate.

Well this is novel (heh): a fake account playing off political divisions on Soleimani is promoting a 616 page, pro-Trump/anti-Iran eBook on Amazon. Looks like someone seeded a machine learning text generator with Iran and published the (incomprehensible) result.

Trump’s blusterous rhetoric & bravado will throw us headfirst into a real & reckless war. Diplomacy & deescalation is urgently needed—not threatening Iranian cultural sites & alienating our allies.

Trump Admin owes a full explanation of airstrike reports—all the facts—to Congress&the American people. The present authorizations for use of military force in no way cover starting a possible new war. This step could bring the most consequential military confrontation in decades

ToTok, an increasingly popular chat app, turns out to be a spying tool for the Emirati government. Map contacts, location, etc it users. “Unclear whether ToTok allows the Emiratis to record video or audio calls of its users.”

For five days, I've sought simple answers and basic reforms from in order to protect dissidents and at-risk communities – common sense standards of care and professional ethics. Netblocks has finally responded: I've been blocked.

While provided misleading responses about the collection of personal data with tests, specifically IPs ('...stateful firewall...'), let slip that does store IPs for test takers. Not only is this an ethical problem, it's also suspect under the GDPR.

Independent review is key. Network measurement is notoriously difficult to get right, even for experts with years of experience. It's both common courtesy and a professional obligation to answer the questions of fellow researchers.

Before citing or engaging with Netblocks' claim, everyone now needs to take a step back and ask them: Where did the data come from? Who else has checked their measurement methods and made sure the findings are correct? Right now, those questions are impossible to answer.

Netblocks claims to be open source, however, its Github repositories are abandoned and incomplete. Diffscan and the hardware probe are nowhere to be found. Raw data? No. When I asked about open data, they demanded payment. There's no data for researchers.

Netblocks' recent inaccurate graph tells us they are using BGP data. That cannot come from a user probe. Moreover, it *never ever* labels its x-axis – 100% of what? In fact, Netblocks seems unwilling to answer questions from other network researchers about their data sources.
