    As of Dec. 7, 2020 the Cook County Clerk’s Office has assumed the duties of the former Cook County Recorder of Deeds Office. Per the 2016 binding countywide referendum, the Recorder of Deeds no longer is a functioning office & all matters will be handled by the Clerk’s Office.
