    The official recommendation by Superintendent Himmel was approved by the school board. Masks will be mandated in certain situations for students in grades 3-12 and for all students on buses for the first 90 days of school as part of an emergency mandate due to the pandemic.

    Every employee will receive a 5 pack of reusable masks from the Citrus County school district. The district feels confident that they have enough masks to get through the first nine weeks with no issue. They have also ordered 400+ face shields so far.

    Recommendations by Mr. Rubio -Hand sanitizing stations in each classroom -Washing hands when removing a mask -Plastic ziplock bag to keep the mask in when it is not being worn -Wearing the mask as much as possible when social distancing is NOT possible
