    Yes. The NCA literally dog-piled while pounding one counter-demonstrator, and the police ended up arresting and pepperspraying HIM! The CBC should be questioning why the is fabricating a story to make the NCA look like victims, esp. when there is video of the incident!

    I am so proud of the work they did and stand by it and them. They curated beautiful indigenous programming. We don’t interfere in the work of our community curators and I have taken the point that the statement was naive.

    This "land acknowledgment", and evasive response that "an Indigenous person wrote it", fit within one of the central problems of discourse on Indigenous peoples and lands, which is: the failure to deal with the reality of Indigenous political nationhood.
