They should just mail bills to the home addresses instead of having kids worry about having enough money each day. If a family can’t afford it/makes under a certain annual income they should be provided reduced lunch prices. The solution is definitely not KIDNAPPING

https://www.fns.usda.gov/school-meals/applying-free-and-reduced-price-school-meals …. There’s still discrimination based on this program, it’s sad. I have seen it. My granddaughter was on it & the school denied her certain foods. Fortunately I was able to pay for her lunches once I knew.

So if parents don't pay back the money the state fronted to feed their kids, the kids will go into foster care where the state will pay foster parents to feed them?
