You put it out there in your music. If you don't like the word then don't say it. Was a white woman chose for this reason? To start trouble? Then say your music is only for black people. Oops! That's racist. The race baiting needs to stop!

How is this “Trump’s World?” - the person was singing along as the damn song was written...and then called out for it? Good grief...we have really lost our collective minds...

I think it’s crap. Write better lyrics. Dylan never said don’t sing it the way I wrote it. Neither did Gill Scott-Heron.

So he doesn't want white people to sing his songs, fair enough

-
He pulled her up on stage and told her to sing it
-
I know, seems like he did it on purpose to be an a$$. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Nobody should use the n-word but if a person is buying his record putting money in his pocket and he's put that in the lyrics anybody can sing all the words in the song!
-
It was his show. He was using it for a teaching moment.
-
What happens if certain fans went crazy on her and beat her up or something or maybe get mad at him no that's not a time for a teaching moment! But I do understand what you mean!

Why does the song contain such generous use of it? I guess that's talent...

Can’t sing them then

-
But if I sing them I’m a racist?
