Exactly 10 years ago this week, the FBI warned of the potential consequences — including bias — of white supremacist groups infiltrating local and state law enforcement, indicating it was a significant threat to national security.https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/fbi-white-supremacists-in-law-enforcement …

They can defend it, but it doesn't make it right. I'll never eat at
@WaffleHouse -
What exactly did Waffle House do wrong? The man admitted he was confrontational.
-
Nothing. Just providing great food at a reasonable price all day and night!

Why? The man admits he was confrontational “Anthony Wall says he had taken his younger sister to the prom on May 4, then to Waffle House, where he argued with employees and police were called. He now admits he got confrontational with the officer.”
-
Chokeholds like the officer used have been banned by police forces nationwide since the 1990s due to several deaths of suspects while in custody.
-
Ok, I get that, but why boycott Waffle House? They called the authorities, and whether right or wrong, they have nothing to do with the actions of the police.
-
I've worked in restaurants. If you tell the police that a customer is only being disruptive, they will (or should) just help escort the customer from the restaurant. Once outside, you let them go.
-
You may be correct, still not on Waffle House though. It’s an unfortunate situation, but at the same time, why do people have to act like such dick heads where police need to be called in the first place. It seems shit like this could be avoided if people acted civilized to start
-
I agree 100%. If the young man hadn't acted the way he did, the rest wouldn't have happened.
