I agree that this is excessive, but why in the world would you call for a boycott of Waffle House?
the same restaurant who donated a month’s worth of earnings for the families of the shooting victims in Nashville? This has ZERO to do with them.

I agree, but for some odd reason their employee's have a fetish for calling the police. Maybe a boycott will prompt corporate for better training?
-
I thinj considering the atmosphere at most waffle houses I’ve been to, I’d be calling the police when things started getting a little shifty as well. It’s not their fault the cop reacted like this.

Enough, buy a waffle iron. You’ll find they taste better without a side of racism.

Yeah I don't like the officers hand around his neck. That's a form of rage. That's pure hatred and has nothing to do with his job.
-
And anyone who puts their hand around another person's neck has the intention to kill that other person.
-
Yeah I can see why he would fight back at that point perhaps even through instinct and without self control.

Everyone responds differently.

Oh shit. MLK's daughter wants publicity. I agree this cop needs to be fired. No provocation by the young man that I saw. What I saw was a supposed "juiced up" white cop who watched the movie 'Walking Tall' one too many times. The young man's family...lawyer up!
