Ridiculous waste of taxpayers funds. I'm sure she wasn't the only student who fell asleep while studying. Come ON!!!

Then why are more white people killed by police every year than black people, even-though blacks have a higher percentage of interactions with police

We’re talking about negative interactions between police and black citizens

I guess death doesn't count as a negative interaction in your view

If you count total negative interactions including death, it occurs more often with blacks than whites

Blacks committ 50% of the crimes in the US, so naturally whites and hispanics have less police interactions Yet, still the police kill more white people than blacks every year Seems to suggest the opposite of this story

@Yale Why hasn’t a review into the behavior of Sarah Braasch been conducted, and disciplinary action against her been implemented? This is not her first time harassing black Yale students by calling the police on them without cause.

Really? Uneven? We can play through an uneven field, we can adapt to a physical disadvantaged. These cases are about hate not “uneven burden”. Charlotsville, SOBs, Rapists, access Hollywood, Central Park 5....Starbucks ...this is hate....

There are a lot of uneven burdens on law-abiding black people. I've been pulled over by police so many times only to be told I fit the description.

Why call the police because she fell asleep. Why not be concerned she was ok? But why be so argumentative to the police when they are doing their jobs? Just show your ID and be done with it. People have become so petty.

I don’t think you can understand how humiliating and provoking interactions like that can be. Constantly having to be watched, questioned , second guessed, doubted builds up involuntary and sometimes irrational instinct. It’s human.
