As I recall, nursing homes are free from suit. Clients families are limited to binding arbitration thanks to Congress passing it last year & Trump signed it.

Such BS old folks homes have been killing their clients for years and now that McMaster gets killed it’s a big deal. Don’t get me wrong but remember all the people that died in FL. After the hurricane? No one went to jail for that one.

I'm very sorry for this man's death. My mom is in a nursing home & I can vouch for the fact that they are overworked & underpaid. This doesn't excuse her conduct & she should be prosecuted...
-
...but as a society we throw away our seniors, especially when they can no longer care for themselves. It's abominable. My family and I are in touch with & visit her regularly to ensure her care levles, but what about those with no family?

Unfortunately, this is very common. Nursing homes are incredibly understaffed and employees underpaid. Not excusing this, but it happens all the time. I am imterested in exactly how many nursing home neglect cases are handled by the US Attorney General, though.

I live in Louisiana and I saw on the news it has nothing to do with Trump, it’s state money not federal.
