Communism killed 100 million people over the globe for 100 years. It so right to glorify its founder.

Communism was founded based on the philosophy of Karl Marx, he was not the founder of Communism. Also, ideologies dont kill people, you are thinking of governments like the USSR. What about the Chinese Communist Party?

Concerning Chinese Communists - 30 000 000 dead during Mao's rule. Another example of implementation Marxist "philosophy".

Millions of Chinese died under the rule of the Nationalist and Chiang Kai-shek, I don't think its a ideological think, rather just the unfortunate facts of modern Chinese history

Maoism is actually anathema to Marxist theories, as Mao believed in the peasent class being the core for the revolution, while Marx wrote that revoltuion could only come after a nation has industrialized. pretty fascinating actually

George G. Watson ~ "the Marxist theory of history required and demanded genocide for reasons implicit in its claim that feudalism, which in advanced nations was already giving place to capitalism, must in its turn be superseded by socialism."

We're supposed to knock down statues of people like Grant, but many want to support statue of a man that believed in genocide as a resolution? #pathetic

What are you talking about? The people of the u.s wiped out and replaced most of the american indians. Karl Marx thought the world would be better off without certain people that exploit others, which doesn't necessarily mean kill them, but it may have been necessary.

If ever a statue needed tearing down, it's that one. The man's "philosophy" has led to the death of hundreds of millions. Great social critic and intellect? His theories were proved completely wrong. He's a sophistic hack, worthy of history's deepest scorn.

Not really it gives the people in charge to much power and such a small group of people are incapable of fairly governing the people and always end up corrupted

I'd have thought their continual illegal attacks on other countries based on obviously (and later admittedly) false pretexts, 3 of the most recent being iraq, libya and syria, regardless of public opinion might indicate that they are corrupted and at least act like they 1/2

Well many mps have very openly accused Tony Blair of lying about iraq. And many have also been highly critical of the 2011 attack in libya.
