They joined the group late, weren’t with parents, and refused to answer any questions. This isn’t racial profiling as they were on a public campus and others in the group had a right to know their intentions. Oh please it is to. A lot of people go with a sibling on tours. The tours are free and you have to sign up for them ahead of time. Just another racist ass person out there penalizing someone for being a minority

Out an abundance of caution I agree with the decision. You have two males who joined the tour late, no interaction with the others and you're responsible for the safety of the other students - they questioned them and released them - well done. I would have given them a full tour
-
Full tour and get a chance to meet with other students and faculty from the academic department(s) they are interested in.

Hey
@CBSNews , Maybe use a picture of the awful woman your article is about, instead of showing one of the natives that was victimized for no reason.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

How horrible! I hope the woman who called the police sees this, and does the right thing by reimbursing the boys for the cost of their 14 hour drive and related expenses, since she blocked them from their college tour. The college should give free tuition!
-
So the strawberry blonde woman called the police because these boys appeared Hispanic and she heard mention of Mexico (they’re from NEW Mexico) ... and now these boys’ names will be in police records for future use against them, such as in college admissions. Swell!

How about police identify the parent that called them and their kid gets barred from
@ColoradoStateU? That's what I'd like to see. -

Actions have consequences. People who do this presume every day that they and those they care about will be spared those consequences because of the higher standards to which others hold themselves accountable. It's about time they weren't.
-
(Your assumptions about the political position of someone you don't know anything about are noted.) Save your "you shouldn't want these people to experience the very thing they were only too pleased to inflict on others" guilt trip for someone else.

When you get around to figuring out a stronger argument than "those who have caused harm say others should live up to a higher standard than to impose consequences", let me know.

the woman who called the police should be fined for her bigoted attitude. The guys were quiet, listening to the tour guide, how can she feel uncomfortable? If that is how she is, what are her kids like?? real education starts at home.

The woman who made that call to the police needs to be fined for making a frivolous 911 call. It is a crime to call the police for no reason.
