“I honestly don’t the real reason that I was fired. I originally took the president at his word when I saw him on TV saying it was connected to the Russia investigation,” James @Comey tells @vladduthiersCBS http://cbsn.ws/2jvryO7 pic.twitter.com/lOwbWLKYCP

She’ll be campaigning for the Dems during the midterms! All but guaranteeing a win for the Republicans.

Agreed re: basis for a comment on HC never having met her.

It’s called keeping your distance and cutting your losses. DOJ investigative report coming out that should be critical of Comey and his handling of Clinton investigation. Question: Why isn’t Loretta Lynch being investigated also??

She is still salty because she didn't get to be President, there is no way I was going to vote for her or Trump

"The woman"? What a ridiculous response. Just say yes or no.
-
He’s never met her or personally interacted with her. He has met and personally interacted with Trump. He’s being honest.
-
To know if someone is fit to be president, you don't need to personally meet them and chat with them in a personal level. Most Americans (or anyone that votes in the world) don't have that chance to do that and elect a president based on policy presentation.
-
It is a deflection of the question of a rather easy answer.
-
As we know, Comey at least says that he holds himself to a higher standard. I don’t know about all of that but it’s understandable that he wouldn’t want to publicly compare one to the other when he had close, personal experience with Trump but never met or interacted with HRC.
-
To his credit and following up on your response, he has already said he didn't vote and that is more in line of a possible answer that he could've given instead of "I don't know her". It would've seen more of a proper response, in my opinion.
