For those not reading the article: her doctor told her she was unfit to drive and not to. She did anyway.

Wished people would read the article before commenting.

At the same time, this headline is super misleading.
-
You don't rely on a headline to learn about the story. You read the article.
-
Not everyone has the time to read long articles.
-
It was 600 words. That's "long" to you???
-
The point I was making was that most people on twitter would rather scroll through and read a headline rather than take time and click, wait for their browser to open, etc. I don’t get why asking for a less misleading headline is bothering y’all

You can’t charge a person with a crime when they are having a seizure.
-
She was told by doctors not to drive. Yes you can be charged.
-
You’re right if she was told not to drive. My sister had a seizure recently. First in her 65 years and she can’t and shouldn’t drive.

Was told not to drive 3 times, did it twice. Hit a car and left the scene the first time, killed 2 children the second. Judge made the right decision

Willful negligence. Yes, it's sad that she had a seizure but she was told not to operate motor vehicle by her treating physician. Prayers for the children's family, friends, and family of the driver. Hope peace finds its way to all sides.

Just two months before the March crash, prosecutors said, she had a seizure while hospitalized and was told by a doctor not to drive for one year -- advice that was repeated during two follow-up appointments

It’s an unfortunate accident but someone has to be responsible
-
And the reason she is: her doctor told her not to drive
