...and some tips on how NOT to dress for a "business" meeting.
#sweatpants -
I'll be sure to pass along that advice to guys who do "business" while in golf pants.
-
Please do. Those guys probably paid $50-$100 for their pants as well as the fees to play golf. They didn't come dressed for the gym and expect to sit in a place of business for free. But you be butt hurt.
-
Being butt hurt has nothing to do with it. Your comment was inappropriate. Besides, their clothes might have cost just as much AND been very appropriate for the meeting they were taking
-
LOL at folks thinking you have to dress in shirts and ties to do "business." Zuckerberg does deals in T's and jeans.
-
Yes and Steve Jobs only wore black T-shirt’s.
-
One of my good friends deals with hedge fund guys on the regular. Those dudes are more often wearing Polos or Vineyard Vines instead of Jos. A. Bank.
-
The funniest part is dude actually said "They didn't come dressed for the gym and expect to sit in a place of business for free." So is Starbucks a place of business or nah? And do you have to dress in a coat and tie in order to conduct business?

They could have gotten paid, but chose instead to look at the bigger picture.

Very true and that is why Starbucks is backing them as business mentors & financial assistance!
