Bunch of crap...kids fall into walls,or at the playground,or hit by a door, and yes sports...but to narrow it down to football...how about soccer.the NFL can't sit there and be smeared

What other sports do the players run full speed into each other 100 times a game?
-
Yeah but they aren't hit 100 times a game in head...and the more serious concussions for kids right now are in soccer, especially among girls
-
Every been in a car accident? Getting whiplash in the head and neck does not require direct blows to the head and neck area. And even minor concussions make future concussions easier to have.
-
That's why soccer and other sports are a problem as well...
-
The point of football is to run into your opponent as hard as possible to stop them from advancing the ball. Outside of rugby, no other sport requires that sort of action. Heading the ball in soccer is an issue that needs to be addressed. But, it is not the same as football.

Read up on youth soccer....there's no head protection, quit demonizing one game

It's time to ban contact football before the age of 16. As a start. It won't be much longer until contact football is outright banned in America.
-
More kids have head injuries from riding a bike. Should we ban them as well?
-
Riding your bike does not repeatedly damage your brain, Soccer is a different kind of injury. Football is known to cause brain damage, and younger, less developed brains are more susceptible to those injury from repeated blows.
-
I just don't understand how people don't get it.
-
Because the vast majority of people who have played football have ZERO brain issues. Did you have any concussions from playing football?
-
We live in a society where injuries are considered a weakness. So, if your parent berates you on a regular basis and your coach berates you on a regular basis, kids aren't taught that it is ok to be injured. And that injuries are not their fault.pic.twitter.com/k85AljzEUq

There’s so many holes in this it’s silly. The child wasn’t tested for cte it sounds more like the parents are looking for a lawsuit. I played from age 7 till I was 18 with no issues other then competitiveness a desire to win teamwork skills and the value of hard work
