Sorry, your explanation here only addresses the physical location, this video clip did not speak as to why so many individual drivers would then flee from the scene as the statics now show is on the rise.

I think I know why, look no further than to all the data on our nations ever growing addiction issues, be it on opioids, heroin, alcohol, etc. then factor that people are likely driving under the influence in greater numbers than perhaps ever before ...cont

... inevitably if you drive under the influence oft enough, you will hit something. I suspect people then realize uh oh I can’t stop at this wreck I caused because I don’t want to go to jail therefore they flee the scene.

It’s a lot of that (drugs/alcohol) as well as people will even flee for because they are driving under suspension or no DL. They only care about themselves.
