After 30+ years of flying, I saw my share of "cowling" fly off and engines die. Landing with one engine. Having this happen is very rare for engine parts to rip into a plane fuselage. FAA will look for metal fatigue for sure, Inspections are needed.

They better start checking engines for terrorism. Too many engines catching on fire that is a rare occurrence. Maybe its SES members again.
