A science-based criterion for impairment is needed, because tests detect presence of metabolites of cannabis for an extended period while impairment ends after a few hours. So saying 61 traffic deaths were linked to marijuana doesn’t reveal much if based on detectable THC only.

since it stays in your system for 30 days, how can you say it caused the accident, I smoke daily and drive 50,000 mile a yr and have had a dui for pot, it is wrong and should not be allowed.

Why are their deaths? Local police told me where I lived two years ago it is legal for pot dealers to come on private property and deal drugs and legal to use it. I guess they listen to Governor Brown instead of the U.S. Congress???? wrong choice.
