So many organizations can take a corrective benchmark from Starbucks instead of staying quite and sweeping such behaviors under the rug hoping that such will not be raising it ugly head within their cultures.

Nice gesture by Starbucks. Given their annual employee turnover rate however (~65%), they would have to do this at least quarterly. My guess is if you looked at their monthly employee turnover rate, monthly shutdowns would be more appropriate.

Oh, and the employee who pulled the curtain back on this specific occurence has "since left the company" and won't be trained. Nevermind the shareholder analysis though, eight hours of implicit biased training is never going to overcome a lifetime of individual implicit bias.
