Can we also drug test all members of the government; local, state and federal? All board members of corporations receiving tax cuts?

You know, there re a lot of people who look just like you, you know Senior citizens are the fastest growing population that are on food stamps. Wouldn’t they test positive for drugs? Most are on some.

Because if you are an addict our government doesn’t believe you deserve to eat. Amazing.

Read the article. The testing applies only to a small group of people and only makes up 5% of the people receiving benefits.
-
Oh. I guess since it’s only 5% that makes it okay. I did read the article dear. Still not a fan.

It’s not far fetched to think that an able bodied person with no dependents who is only feeding themselves might be applying for food stamps simply to trade for drugs. It’s perfectly reasonable and logical.

I need my job to support my family and eat. At my job, we receive random drug tests. If I were to fail, I lose my income, benefits, and more than likely my home, car, etc. Why should it be any different for anyone else? My family needs to eat. Here’s a novel idea, don’t use drugs

The ignorance of some people. The most recent testing was done in Florida. It was a bust and cost more that the food stamps.

, If they implement that, then citizens should DEMAND drug testing for all politicians, their staff, all federal employees & police!

As a nurse I can tell you that this one is not cost efficient. Patients narcotic prescriptions change rapidly and therefore tracking each and every 1 of them could provide false positives leading to poor people not getting food, Yes kids go hungry when we deprive the poor!
