Facebook does not put a gun to anyone's head and make them sign up. We live in a free country. Accept the risks.
true. problem is the "real" risks -- their lax enforcement of data breaches -- were not communicated to those signing up.
Anytime you give away your information to anyone, or any company it is a risk. It is a shorter list of who has not been breached than who has been.
But he loves for all of us to share information, so he can make money on it? Um maybe he sold info to Russians? Has any decent investigative reporters checked in to that story?

People can't get upset when they voluntarily put their info online, accept all conditions and warnings, and facebook has your data. Be mad about Cambridge, sure...but that Facebook knows what you're doing with THEIR software after they tell you so? Come on.
