"a little pain"? What does he care if a wide variety of products cause the rest of us to pay more? He's rich! His salary is set for life! He's not going to worry about a farmer having to go under because of tariffs. He only cares about ratings.

Trump doesn't care if it hurts the farmers growing fruit & vegetables, naw, but if it jeopardized his beloved McDonalds hamburgers & french fries, whew, boy!

Tell that to 1 million voters in the Rust Belt that will be slammed by these tariffs. “A little pain” may cost them their livelihoods.

Does he know what a trade war is? He is following Kudlow's stance in ignorance.

A little pain???? My husband can’t retire this June because of all the growth we lost in our fund. Go to hell Trump
-
Which fund? Is your fund not higher right now than it was six months ago?
-
Nope. Lost 2 to 3 years growth in the last two months.

That’s not very nice. We don’t have control of it til he actually retires. Half the stock is in his company as required. As his company stock plummets so does our chance of retirement. We can’t take the funds out of his company til he actually leaves.
