Guns/Murder isn’t a nationwide problem in the US; it’s a problem in a very small set of urban areas. In 2014, the worst 2 percent of counties accounted for 51 percent of the murders. 5 percent of counties account for 68 percent of the murders. Gang problem-enforce existing laws

I know that facts are inconvenient and painful but reality does make itself known. What’s even worse is that the most murder prone cities have most restrictive gun laws. So much for the gun control narrative.
And if you had done even the tiniest bit of research on gun control, you'd know that it will only be successful if implemented at a Federal level.
Your assertion that federal involvement is required begs the question: why are there huge swaths of the country with high gun/ ownership numbers but low murder/crime numbers.
