I Don't get it. Why are Schools even being opened, without Metel Detectors, and Searches upon entering in place. Is it not Apparent, that this IS Needed for TODAY'S CHILDREN? ANY INSIDE SCHOOL SHOOTING WITHOUT THESE IN PLACE IS THE FAULT OF THE SCHOOL & THE SCHOOL HELD LIABLE
-
metal detectors do nothing. unless you place one in every access point; to include windows, etc. no place, and no one, is ever actually "safe".
-
100% true, Yet there still needs to be metal detectors, at the Point of set entry's. Anything that happens outside of that, is just that, outside of that. Anything else is just an excuse for doing nothing, because something can happen, even if you wear your seatbelt
-
a heavy reliance on detectors isn't enough. need defense-in-depth. detectors, armed personnel, surveillance, training, etc.
-
Yup LMAO,.,., It's a start LOL

These Attacks cannot continue to be normalized, We promised Marjory Stoneman Douglas that, We can't have our children dying in order to protect gun rights, we need stricter gun legislation to protect actual human beings from harm

Yeah whatever. Would have liked to see how this or any other school SHOOTING would have played out if the SHOOTER didn't have access to a gun. We don't have a mass knifing/punching epidemic. We have a mass shooting epidemic and we're the only developed country that does.
-
Actually, 300x as many people are killed with knoves every year than with guns. 400x many people tell killed with bare hands than with guns. America ranks 32nd in the world for mass shootings. Countries in Europe who have banned guns have more than we do. Use some facts.
-
When people kill they are indeed ill. Thank you for sharing.

Another day, another student shooting. More guns won't fix this
#FAIL -
A gun did fix this...in the hands of the liaison officer. He did his job and saved lives..
-
In this case sure. Many more circumstances where it hasn't. Other countries don't have this problem.
