Because the dog was barking, giving an alert that rescue was required, someone must be charged with animal cruelty by neglect. This was no longer an accident once everyone heard the distressed sounds of the animal.

The airline should be shamed BUT the owner is equally responsible. Why the HELL would you agree to that? And never check? Zero chance on earth id ever comply.

It's surprising @United didn't call the cops to punch the mutt's owners unconscious too.

@united needs to FIRE that flight attendant, she needs to be arrested, fined & jailed for causing the death of that dog. I hope that family sues the airlines & her personally! #FireTheStupidBitch

I still don't get it. How did the dog get on the plane? Clearly not a documented "Service Dog".

It wasn’t just the flight attendant who insisted they pup be put up, but every flt attendant on the plane who had to know what was happening should be held accountable. No staff was aware of pet compliance rules??

United obviously has a lot of idiots. But I would have left the plane if told to put my dog in the overhead bin. I mean, really.
