That’s a pretty disgusting statistic! I’m not sure why we find hoarding limited resources to such a large degree a laudable goal, but I personally find it gross that he has more than a billion people combined.

And your point is? Bezos has earned it. He pays his taxes. While I’m not a total Amazon fan, they provide one hell of a service.
-
“earned” Are you kidding me lady? How do you EARN $100 billion? What could one person do to EARN $100 billion dollars, pray tell. I do not begrudge Bezos getting rich for a good idea. I oppose the idea that ANYONE can be that rich-we have limited resources. It’s unfair.
-
Wealth is not a zero-sum. Him having more money doesn't mean that you have less money.
-
That is totally false; wealth is definitely a zero sum game-we can’t all be billionaires, because there is a limited supply of money. More than a billion and a half people put together have less than Bezos—that’s disgusting.
-
I recommend taking an economics class. I don't know where you get the idea that wealth is a zero sum game. That makes no sense. The money supply is not limited. Also you're equating money to wealth which is false.
-
I took numerous Econ classes as an undergrad, and studied law and economics in law school. Not agreeing with your economic philosophy does not make me wrong—no need to “explain” what I’m missing. Zero-sum economic thinking is pretty prevalent and mainstream.
-
Cool, I'm a master of accountancy and learned the opposite in my numerous economics classes. You never learned that wealthy people don't become wealthy by "hoarding" cash?

No one person should ever have a billion dollars.
-
Fuck yes they should. Guy worked hard for it. Deserves every cent!
-
He also probably doesn't have a billion dollars cash, it's all invested in assets.

If you're thinking this guy is too big to fail, you are probably right. You just kind of have to hope he is on the side of goodness and justice for all, right?
-
This kind of inequality of wealth-distribution undermines the constitution that the nation should be ruled by the people. The people have no fair chance against the super-rich elite.
