Dear people. How hard someone tries. It is physicaly impossible to open airplane Doors during flight because of the pressure difference inside and outside.

It would be physically impossible for her to do this.

That doesn't mean it didn't scare the crap out of the other passengers. She needed to be restrained and taken to a hospital.

It scared people who didn't take physics. Probably didn't need to be tackled. Calmed down, yes.

I'm just saying she scared them and she was obviously delusional and out of her mind. I didn't see the footage before she was tackled so I won't comment as to if it was excessive or not. People who break from reality can be very hard to restrain.

I hear ya. An airplane is never a good place to lose it, especially these days.

Luckily, it's impossible unless it's at very very low altitudes.

Well, if you dumped cabin pressure first then you could open it. Not likely you will get the pilots to cooperate though haha. That was one of the first steps for a bailout checklist on the P-3. But your point is still valid. No reason to panic.

If you decide to dump cabin pressure you’ll blow everyone’s ears and make it snow in the cabin and flight deck. (I’m a airplane mechanic)

I think you missed my point. I didn’t mean “dump” literally. Though I am unfamiliar with the systems on this aircraft, all I was getting at is that opening the door would require depressurizing. I was a Flight Engineer and I was agreeing with you lol.
