This is extremely sad. How do you expect these workers to give guests the “Disney” experience if they are struggling & can’t even afford to feed themselves 3 meals a day ? Prices go up at the park, So should wages !

California is way too expensive for anyone to live especially for a carnival ride worker.

We all know the don't care about their employees. They only care about how many people they can get into their parks. Complete shame how they treat their employees. But until ppl stop buying or going Disney nothing will change. Same thing at WDW in Florida.

This is so disgraceful, given how much profit Disney makes annually. They said the average Disney worker earns $37,000 per year but there are different types of workers. So pooling the upper level management's salaries with that of ancillary staff you can get a higher average smh

They just raised the ticket prices as well. How does a family afford to go there? If you have two children, that well over $450 for one day.

And they're looking to spend 2 billion on revamping their parks? You have plenty of money to pay your associates properly! Done w/Disney! All you corporations that treat employees badly as you line your pockets with their sweat.. HELL is what's waiting for ya!!

Because of low wages and homelessness of the disneyland staff, CBS News used a fake cheap Minnie Mouse as the photo. #disney #cheap
