What would be really helpful is Rubio not accepting the suitcases full of cash the NRA gives him.

          Metal detectors should be included.

Not sure that would be worth the money. Minnesota school shooter years ago shot his way through one. And many schools in warm climates have classrooms open to the outside, so there are no doors to campus to set up a detector. Not a bad idea, just not viable at many schools.

How about the police who show up actually do something? Might also be nice if the FBI did it's job instead of covering up for Hillary and Obama.

Maybe instead of a school nurse republicans want to have a M.A.S.H. unit posted at every school in the country, or, just take weapons of war off the GODDAM streets all together and keep the school nurse.

I heard him bloviating about guns, magazines, ammo, mental health, bans, regulations, changes to 2A. Not once did I hear about the 2 things that will actually protect our schools! 1: firearms education 2: Hiring armed veterans.

Uh, sounds like you are talking about doing nothing. Just as I predicted. The @NRA must have reminded you how you got your position. 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱 Summary: If we do *anything* it has to be something that benefits the NRA long-term.

It's not a school's job to be prepared to prevent attacks. That's law enforcement. A school's job is to teach students. Within reason, there should be security, but not "int'l border crossing" level. Arming teachers? They lose it sometimes, too; not a good idea.
